Yoga with Melissa this afternoon! Worked on opening our shoulders/chests and also got some (very needed in my case) hamstring stretches in. Love the fact that Melissa designs her yoga sessions around our weekly CFC programming so that the movements are as beneficial as possible. I really encourage folks looking for some added stretching/mobility to give these yoga sessions a go!

    AM workout:
    3RM back squat
Then 1 min AMRAP of 70%
    Then 3×8 GHRaises

    Chippa:
    25 HSPUs
    50 TTB
    800m Run
    75 Shoulder to OH@75
    100 Double unders

DNF capped at 15 minutes. about 50 sum into the Shoulder to OH. I ended up doing strict press as my wrist was killing me. Man, do I suck at TTB and first time I realized how bad my flexibility really is.

    Wow post #5
Thought I would put this down for posterity:

    PR’d Power Snatch this morning: 88# (+3#)
This has not moved in months, so any little bit is progress.

PR’d my Power C&J too: 127# (+2lbs) – again will take it. This is my bodyweight… so I can now say that I can jerk my body weight. I think this is some sort of a Crossfit big deal!
    :-)

    10am Rowing Class with Sarah

    two 15min sets of rowing
first really worked on technique and form. tried to stay around 80/90 watts and 17-19 strokes/min.

second set kicked up the watts to around 100 and the strokes/min to 20. last five mins bumped it up to 110 and the last min around 150. tried to keep the strokes/min at 20, but difficult

i definitely feel the difference in my rowing already. looking forward to next week.
