    First WOD in the new space Friday evening. Love the color scheme and even the small stuff, like the bathroom being so close to the workout space again! Thanks Rudy for giving my husband the grand tour and the post-tour beer and chatting with folks in the “lounge”. I have a feeling that one day he might cave and join us crazies. Never say never! Came back this morning and immediately noticed that folks have done a ton more work on the space since Friday evening. Pretty awesome!

    @ Kitty,
    I worked on Leonard for a bit today. Still couldn’t convince him!
    He’s a tough nut to crack!!!! :=)

  6. Kitty says:

    Anjali, he told me about it : ) Part of it is that he initially said, “no way” and a change in heart would be changing his initial, head-strong position. I never thought he’d join a globo gym, and he finally joined LVAC ~ 5 years ago at the age of 35 (and actually likes working out there). I thought he’d never do Paleo, because he’s so skinny and grew up eating rice and noodles and he surprised me there, too! He came to the rowing seminar last winter. I can tell he likes the new space. As Rudy says, “baby steps, baby steps…” Bonus points for the CFC’er that gets him to “crack!” (Although, in reality, I know many folks are slowly nudging him “on our side of the fence!”)
