    Posting on yesterday’s WOD
Partnered with Karen on this and I feel badly that I slowed us down tremendously. I was NOT feeling good at all. Actually I didn’t feel good all day after. I don’t remember ever feeling that close to throwing up ever during a workout. And I know I’ve done way harder! Anyway..
Started with double unders – grabbe the wrong rope and it was way too long did sets of 8 till I got to 30 and then just did 50 singles.
5 wall walks – easy for me
10 ring dips ( still have range of motion issue with this)
    15 partner assisted dead hangs
    20 push press at # 55
    25hang power cleans at #55
    30 burpies
    35 back squats at #55
    All pretty manageable ..
Here’s where it went way downhill
    40 wall balls @#12 sets of 10, 8,8,8,6
    45 box jumps 10,10,5,15 step ups , 5
My foot was totally craping up so had to go very slow
    Anyway.. Disaster for me

Anybody doing a long run this week or doing mile repeat intervals or something of that nature?
Time to get some distance running in for me so doing it with someone else will make it somewhat more ‘fun.”
I’ll go as long as a 10k so post here or email me if this sounds appealing and any day this week works for me

  5. Erin says:

@alex you know suzanne and I will be getting some distance in this week. Ill let you know when. You would be a good pacer!

Excited to potentially see some new faces tomorrow morning for the 7 am. Co-ed starts tomorrow! Watch out though these ladies in the morning are pretty fierce! Bring your A game!

The ambassador & I did about 25-30k on bikes today in the Alsace plains, which is between the alps & vosges mountains, so the word “plain” is a misnomer. Followed that with some handstand walk practice then a small wod.
    3 rounds of:
400m run (down the hill & back up)
    20 pushups
    20 situps

Halfway through the bike ride we stopped for lunch which entailed a beer for me, a glass of wine for the ambassador, and a big plate of 5 different cuts of pig on a bed of sauerkraut. The ambassador had a salad :/

1/2 mile swim at Ohio St beach, 20 mile bike. Cramming for the tri. Watching women’s weightlifting on TV, wow that is some serious weight!
