    Hello friends!
So, Glenn and I are adopting a puppy! The thing is, him and his brother are inseparable and do everything together! We feel terrible about separating them! We are adopting Gibbs, Is anyone interested in adopting his brother, Magee so they can see each other every so often?? They are adorable and lab/bijon mixes (the link says bijon/american bulldog, but his foster mom thinks they are lab). Here is the link in case any of you are interested! We are picking him up friday, so we would also be able to bring him to Chicago….Let Glenn or me know via the blog or at anjalithawani@yahoo.com. and we can get you guys set up…

@Mark, is that chest to bar on the lower bar or chin to bar on the high bar? I think Kacey’s wondering the same thing.

    Mondvol! This week’s entrees are:

Crab Cakes with Steamed Broccoli ($10) – Homemade crab cakes topped with a roasted red pepper sauce. Served with chopped steamed broccoli.

Turkey Meatloaf with Mashed Cauliflower ($10) – Meatloaf made from a mixture of ground turkey breast and Italian sausage. Served with mashed cauliflower.

In addition to the upstairs loft fridge, there are also Mondvol paleo meals available for sale in the SMALL STAINLESS-STEEL fridge in the main wod room. Each fridge has a payment envelope taped to the front so please be sure to place your cash in the corresponding envelope if you make a purchase. Note: Mondvol purchases CAN’T be charged to your CFC account so please don’t log your purchase on the CFC beverage sheet. Thanks!

    “Angie”

My awesome team consisted of Jen, Christina M. & I. We were pretty well-rounded, where one person was weak in one skill, it was someone else’s strength. Pullups and pushups (knees) were tough…used red/black band. My arms felt like jello after the pushups. Sit-ups and air squats are my strengths so those didn’t bother me as much. After the air squats I had trouble walking. I enjoyed doing the team WODs, it was a nice change of pace. Nice job ladies :)

Did the team “Angie” workout with the best the best team ever— Team Levin!

Dylan, Terry, and Myself completed this WOD in 28:09

It was a great time and I think that our communication, besides the few yells, really helped us get through the workout at a good pace.

Everything felt solid, just towards the end of the pushups did we have to lower the reps per person.

I really enjoyed this one with the fam! Can’t wait to do it again!

Got to play with 1 sweet Elieko bar today, but still couldn’t make the lift.
Snatch made 209. Missed 220x 6-7 times. Weight was getting overhead ok however couldn’t stabilize the weight. Just kept on buckling my elbow and shoulder. I guess my stabilizers suck! Bring on the accessory work!
