    About 40 minutes of DU practice on my mother’s patio. I am pleased to report that I finally hit my proving-grounds goal of 10 consecutive (2x at that). Yippee!

    I second Gina’s congrats–Jean I know how much you’ve been keeping at the double under practice, and it looks like it’s paying off!

    Made up this Christmas workout at CF Suburban Playground (I liked Jamba Juice’s post yesterday):

    12 rounds,
    ~600 m run
    10 pullups on monkey bar
    10 burpees

    Time: 57:45

    Good mental test, as it seemed like a daunting amount of work when I made it up. Just went steady the entire time, pullups unbroken.

    Big thanks to Rudy for holding open gym this afternoon.
    Little work on power snatch – got up to 105#. A very ugly 105# but still it ended up in the right place.

    Then joined 6AM Glen for:
    20 min AMRAP of:
    10 Push-ups
    20 Squats
    100 Single-unders

    Got 9 rounds plus 15 squats. Hamstrings still burning from the Filthy 50 but the 100 single-unders were by far the biggest time killer.

    Now its time for the toughest WOD of the day, dinner with my parents.

    I’m interested in a hard core, post Christmas workout! I can’t make the 10am, but would come in around 5 or 6 like Tom is suggesting!

    Maybe there is a coach that feels the same way?? :)

    Following trendsetter Jamba Juice, I hit Agnes’s Living Room CrossFit today:
    100 squats
    25 situps
    100 squats
    25 situps
    100 squats
    25 V-ups
    100 squats
    25 pike pushups
    17:56
    DUs yesterday took a toll on my shoulders and slow-healing wrist, so stuck mainly with legs and core. Looking forward to getting back to the box.

    I’m going to go in tonigt and will open the box up from 6-7 for those wanting to Wod tonight. (Tom, Suz, Karen, joy Sarah… Etc) I will be making up Thursday’s workout if anyone wants to join me, unless you are welcome to do any Wod from this previous week!
