Subbed 25# kettle bell swings for jumps. Spaced and only did 25 reps on first two rounds, 35 on last round.
Pull-ups – attempted kipping on green band for first round, then switched to green band on rack for last 2 rounds.

16:47 at 75#. Done in am and sore shoulders from presses so I dropped weight. Was planning on doing 80# but just not feeling right. Thrusters done at (20,5),(8,8,9), (9,6,6,4). Pullups at (15),(10,5),(15). Also sub tuck jumps for dbl unders which very broken up as I gasped for air.

45# for thrusters. Wrists still hurt from Monday.
Double unders were fine. My favorite part of the workout.
My kipping pull ups still have horrible rhythm. I’d do 2, get a wild swing going on, then stop myself and start again. Took forever and my hands ripped. My right hand rip is 1.75 inches from top to bottom and it’s oozing all over my computer mouse :( Didn’t feel as “gassed” for this workout since I took so many breaks in pull ups.

Interesting. Last time did this at 21:14 with 45#, 200 singles, and jumping pullups. May seems like years ago.

2 Front Squat 95lb
1 Mile Run
Notes:
Begin with your 12 squats, then go back to the top and do 12 squats, and 11 sit-ups. Then back to top and do 12 squats, 11 situps, 10 wallballs…and so on until you get to the 2 front squat. Then you do the whole thing one last time and run 1 mile at end to FINEX. For Rx do all body-weight reps in unbroken sets, and do not put bar down between 95lb weighted sets. Post your time and comments in the CrossFit forums.

Another funny workout at Crossfit Albany today. I did this in 32:34. I did the ring dips with a purple band and found my range of motion increased a lot.

First round of thrusters were unbroken, the rest were done in three random sets. Had quite possibly the worst jump rope I’ve ever used today. Sucked it up and made it through though. Those thrusters were rough.
Did my own version of the Navy Seal 12 gifts of Christmas workout in my apt:
12 squats
11 situps
10 chair dips
9 pushups
8 burpees
7 double unders
6 HSPUs
5 lunges
4 mountain climbers
3 flutter kicks (4x = 1)
2 planche holds (30 sec each)
1 max l-sit
start at 12. then 12, 11. then 12, 11, 10, etc down to 1. man is this one a breath stealer…

Thanks for the 12 gifts posts. Your first post provided me with an inspirational workout theme that I could create without equipment. Unfortunately, I did not see your second post until I had already created my 12 gift workout. My sister was digging this idea too, but was glad that she was on the DL once she saw how much “fun” I was having:
12 squats
11 jumping jacks
10 butterfly situps
9 dips
8 pikes
7 burpees
6 T pushups
5 jumping split squats (scissors)
4 plank pushups
3 jump squats
2 side planks, 1 min each
1 min jump rope or run

This smoked me. I did this after not really eating all day and it predictably kicked my butt. When I finished I pressed the wrong button on my watch so I didn’t get an accurate time but guessing from my last time check during my last set I must have been 20 min plus, so I guessed around 22 min. However that did include a weight change. Also subbed tuck jumps for double unders, no jump rope at the gym.
