HQ Wod
5k row
Time – 18:33.6
Going into it i thought the best i could do was sub 18 mins if i kept a 1:45-1:50 pace but that didn’t happen and i figured realistically i should finish under 18:30. pace was pretty much 1:52-1:56 most of the time and again i think my form improvements helped me not drop below that pace no matter how gassed i was getting. strokes/minute were 21-23 throughout and at the end sprint i got up to 25-27 strokes. seriously wanted to stop after about 2000m. there’s always that moment in a wod and as long as i keep moving i beat it and survive. good one…
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone!
How about a shoveling WOD?!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!!!!!
Rudy,
That step stool in the picture . . .is that so you and Mandie can reach the microwave? Or is it for “step ups” instead of box jumps in your snowed in WOD?

Had to make up for nana’s cooking
HAHAHA!! Eileen I was Cracking up when I read that!! (Also very embarrassed at what a mess our kitchen looks like!! it was due to Christmas preparations!) And sadly enough…I do use that to get into the cabinets…but I can reach the microwave:)
That is very hard core Rudy! I am both impressed and jealous of your home equipment!!! Besides I know that you and Mandie really use your counter tops for box jumps. I only wish I could do an rx’d box jump WOD!)
Whatever! That’s hardcore! There’s paleo chili on the stove, water and coffee in front of an awesome gift bag ala Whole Foods from some awesome peeps, my laptop playing everything from Tupac to System of a Down and a huge fish oil thing from CostCo to the right of the computer.
Good stuff, very useful, nice website too, so thanks, will also book mark.
