Competitors – today’s mainsite workout has burpee bar muscle ups in it. Good thing we practiced with burpee chest to bars a few weeks ago as a preparatory movement due to my masterful programming :). Only kidding about the programming comment but hey we better get ready, they are coming in comps/regionals, etc

200 1/2 sits
300 Single unders
4 k run @ 2k jump off 50 airsquats back on finish the 4k
50 Press ups
100 1/2 sits
150 single unders
2 k run @ 1k jump off 25 air squats back on finish the 2k
This was fun just kept moving funnily enough on my second set of pressups I did my first 25 unbroken, random, as first set I struggled through the 100.
13.2 redux…..no boozing for me, so I came in forthe 9am to knock this out again.
225 reps.
13 reps better than Thursday.
Focused more of deadlift technique and only broke stride once. Still think I can get to 8 rounds, but that ain’t gonna happen this year.

After internally debating with myself like a baby all weekend, our MOM rich g. Stepped up and judged for me at 2:45 this afternoon. I don’t care what anyone says, that guy is a sweetheart.
9 rounds even. 270 reps.
Raise your hand if you were tempted to call Brett Raz today and ask for Seymour Butts or Amanda Hungnkiss?
13.2 went way better than 13.1 for me. Felt so good, I actually took two shots at it. 237 reps on Saturday and 241 today. Feel good about it. Still debating what the best strategy for the box jumps/step ups. I guess we’ll never really know.
Had the distinct honor of judging not just 1, but 2 CFC badasses today. OK, 1 badass, and one former potential badass who’s such a headcase he psyches himself out for open WODs.
BRaz killed it at 270. I think he had a few more reps, but his body was in beat down mode. He turned to me in round 4 or 5 of box jumps to say “this is a bad idea, Rich”, but still killed it.
FAB not so much. At least he doesn’t have to wear the tutu next week but his old drunk ass couldn’t even beat my old slow short bald bones. It was great watching one of his 8 year old twins yelling at him on box jumps, telling him that she’s faster than him, which is likely true.
Woke up today with no intention of retrying 13.2, but after watching MattJ and GeoffM crush it this morning I decided to give it a go.
Result: 261 reps, up from 236 yesterday.
Big shout out to MattJ for being my counter, and Val, Joel, and everyone else cheering me on. Also thanks to Pequods for giving me the delicious fuel to survive this one twice in two days.
