  2. NoWeights4Open=Renegade Teddy says:

    @terry

Any estimate for when my custom badboys will be ready ?

  3. Mathias says:

Good luck today everyone. Wish I could be there.

  4. Ke$ha says:

    13.2 done! 4 rounds + 2 shoulder to overhead

Shoulder to overhead was the biggest struggle for me despite still being sick.

  5. Brian says:

    Completed 13.2 Saturday Morning….

202 total reps. Wanted 7 complete rounds for 210, but a good effort.

  6. Chris L says:

Good start to the day. Good luck to everyone else. Only advice, don’t think, just go for it.

    13.2 – 239 reps

Post: 8 hour AMRAP of green beer

  7. Melissa s says:

13.2 completed. Goal of 6 completed rounds surpassed by 42 reps. Very happy with my 222 reps, 7 rounds +.

Nice job to everyone that completed this! It was a lung burner! Really awesome to watch Alex kill the workout.

  8. Nick G says:

13.2 Done: 135 reps (136 if you count the rep my wife no-repped me on:)

Was pretty happy with this overall. After gassing out trying 2 rounds on Thursday with box jumps, I planned on a 1:15 per round pace, doing all step-up/step-downs, which I was able to almost adhere to.

Doing it again I would’ve pushed through the DL faster in rounds 3-5 to buy some time. If I could’ve got back to the bar with 10 seconds or so, repping out 5 more push presses would’ve been easy–giving me a +10 rep swing.

Got beat in my bracket match-up by 3 or 4 reps by Chris L, but not mad about it, given it took almost 8 total rounds. This should move me up easily into the top half of the MEAT rankings and hopefully resigning my most-mediocre-of-the-mediocre for the rest of the Open (or at least until double unders come up).

Great fun today seeing everybody kill this work out. Fun times!

    13.2

Reps – 335 (11 rounds + 5 s2oh). Wanted 12 going into but 5 no reps on the jumps & falling off the pace by 5-7 secs/round added up to the 40 secs needed to finish round 12.
Fun one and great push from the spectators at the end which helped spur me on to a strong finish. Easiest open wod of the last 3 years in my opinion. In terms of the movements, loads involved, and actually being able to stay on track and not totally tank it pace wise was a decent test of quality of technique and mental toughness. On to the next one

  11. JimF says:

    13.2

    Reps – 211

With so many people complaining about their backs tightening up after this one I got really nervous going into it. But everything went relatively smooth. Back feels fine. Main goal was to stay injury-free. Second goal was to cut down on any rest time and to just keep moving. I knew the actual reps would be slow but that’s fine. Was fun to be out there with everyone despite not being 100%.

I also got to judge Erin, who crushed it. Fun day.

  12. Shah says:

Came off the “high speed” night shift with a 2hr nap before my slot….

    13.2 @ 11.30am slot.

    Judge: Josh Banks

212 reps- goal was middle 6 rds but a good push by the local crowd to complete 7. Back felt fine and all step ups for BJ’s.

No TUTU for me…..Great Job All!

    Party Up!

  13. Nick G says:

    Correction: 235 reps

  14. ervin says:

    thirteen dot two

    207 reps..
    Thought I would do better..
Disappointed.. 115 PP was a little heavy for me.

On another note.. watched the two asian sisters kill it.. (sorry dont know your names and i think they are sisters) and kinda felt like I was trippin.. It was like double vision.. (sorry again probably get that all the time) but good job.. AlexN and ErinC both monsters.. Wow. Good job all.

  15. Deadpool says:

194 Reps for 13.2. Wanted 200 or higher, but some days…pffft.
DLs locked my back up in later rounds, so slowed down a bit. I like my back the way it is.

  16. Matsumoto says:

183 reps (6 rounds, 3 overhead) was shooting for 7 rounds but shoulder to overhead (push jerk) was the limiting factor. Towards 5th and 6th rounds had to start spilt jerking them for the last couple reps Last year I could barely get 75#, so I can see how much I’ve improved. Did step-ups and step-downs for the box jumps. Definitely a tough one.

  17. Brett Raz says:

    A1) jerk 3×2 EMOM—205, 215, 225
    B1) jerk 4×1 EMOM—235, 245, 255, 265
    C1) Press 3×5+—Accidentally did set 1 @ 160#, it was heavy–sets 2-5 @ 150#—amrap 5 reps
    C2) BOR 3×5+—amrap-13 reps
D1) EOMOM Front Squat 5×5@ 185# with 2 sec pause at bottom–almost felt like a metcon at end

    E1) 4 mile run on treadmill @ 8mph–30 min—roughly 75%
    F1) 10 min planks

Got this in at ID gym. I wanted to get some running in as 13.2 was a cruel wake up call as to how far my conditioning has slipped. Nice work to everyone who crushed 13.2 today and this week, Val especially nice job.

  18. Tony says:

260 (8 rounds + 5 step-ups). Did step-ups the entire time because I thought as I got tired I’d probably no-rep a few box jumps and the step-ups also may have saved my legs and back a bit. Think I probably would’ve wound up in the same place either way, but who knows. My judge was JoeP — the P stands for Prodigious Pile of Poo.

Not unhappy with my score, but really unhappy about my complete lack of form on the DLs. This is two weeks in a row where the light weight has allowed me to get away with crappy form early in the workout and it comes back to bite me later on. Think I may be joining the technique group in future classes until my muscle memory is such that I can reliably maintain good form during the workout.

  19. KateM says:

Thanks to everyone today for coming out to judge, volunteer, support and compete! There were a TON of awesome performances-very inspiring!

I decided to jump in the last heat. 181 reps with seated strict press and right leg only stepups. Thanks to mcmuscles for being a great judge and my cheerleaders. That was really fun for me:)

Extra special shout out to my zone team! You guys are crushing these wods and looking awesome in the process!!!

  20. BrettL says:

    13.2 – 228 reps.

Big thanks to RichG who kept me moving and looking at the box.

  21. Alex says:

Because 10 mins wasn’t enough this am came back for a quick afternoon session solo. Interesting to see the gym so empty after all the activity this am…

EMOM for 20 mins – 3 squat cleans
    165# x 5 mins
    185# x 5 mins
    205# x 5 mins
    225# x 5 mins

Good solid much needed clean tech & volume work here. focused on a good strong pull and high high elbows on the catch to get me in a better position to stand up with the load. felt better than in the past and the Swords squat program is helping the front squats/cleans feel better

    +

10 min cool down on the airdyne @ Z1

  22. Ryan (Meester) says:

13.2- 213 reps (7rds + 3 PP) pretty happy overall but need to work on stinging 24″ Box jumps as I did almost all step ups here. PP and DL were all unbroken.

  23. GeoffM says:

Did 13.2 on Thursday, thanks to Val for judging – I wish I could have seen your performance on Friday!

    13.2: 283 reps

started off with box jumps only (first 3 rounds I think), pretty quickly went to combination of step-ups and jumps. Val tried to keep me on track w/ jumps but felt unusually gassed and had to keep alternating.

Overall really wanted to hit 300 and I may try again Sunday morning for a last chance workout w/ MattJ…

Awesome atmosphere in the box as usual today for Gameday Saturday. Good job to all competitors.

  24. Ms. Wani says:

    13.2 and through!!!!

    236 reps!
Thanks for John K for being an awesome judge!
Way harder than it looked on paper and definitely had a few near death experiences but tried to keep pushing through. Felt great for 5 minutes exactly. Then, not so great….ha!

  25. MoM MEAT says:

Great open energy again at the box today.

13.2- 227 reps. Extremely pleased. I thought I’d struggle for 7 rounds but I surpassed that, which is nice.

Favorite moment: Brett L missing about 3 step-ups in the 2nd round because he was busy watching Anthony. Hence the reminders. He also nearly stopped working out completely when Anthony had to run to get his weight belt in the middle. I had to yell Brett back into place.
It was also really good counting for Brett L and having him count for me- we tend to get very similar scores in many workouts, so I had some expectations going in. In the end he beat me by 1 rep.

No tutu again for me, that’s most important of all. Next week is another week.

  26. Mo says:

    13.2
    257 reps

This one was such a mind game. I never thought so much about how I was going to get on top of a 20 in box. I haven’t moved since I got home, so thanks to everyone that pushed me – Carrie H!!!

  27. Krystal B says:

    13.2 = 209

One flipping rep short of a full 7 rounds. I swear I tried to sprint out the last 15 box step ups but just couldn’t move my legs any faster. S&%t!! Think I may have coasted a bit too much and there were a few rounds were I wasn’t counting my box jumps and couldn’t hear when my judge said I was completed. If I get up in the morning, I’ll give it another attempt. Seeing Devin, Angie and Maggie CRUSH it makes me want to try again just to break the 7. WOC girls are awesome!

  28. Christina R says:

13.2 was POO 181 reps =( dropped into a crossfit place in puerto rico last wednesday and overworked my arms so push press was hellish for me. lesson learned people in PR are cray cray. I knew what type of workout it was gonna be when angie and maggie were on BJs after I finished my first 5 reps. They smoked this one!!! Im going to have to bring next saturday.
