    Did Saturday’s workout. Time was 7:44, burpees on the minute added a twist to this one.

    Nice to be back home after a week in Florida. Probably the saddest week of my life, helping out my uncle, attend daily radiation and chemo sessions.

    Got a short but nasty dose of food poisoning from my first and last go round from Pei Wei yesterday. Stomach and appetite still not back to normal but felt good enough to still get some low intensity cardio in.

    Made up Friday with Carolyn. Snatch pr @100. Felt like I had one really good lift at 95 — I actually felt like I did a real snatch and didn’t just muscle the bar up for once. Helped that C told me to “pull” the bar close to my body as I drew it up.

    Then four rounds of 5 push press (@110), 10 KTE, and 300 m row. Fastest 2:05, slowest 2:27. KTE were the limiting factor. Those need a lot of work. Rows finally improving though thanks to some tips from Kacey and Tony a few weeks back — focused on exploding through the pull and then easing back forward. More like the rhythm of chopping wood then riding a bike, if that makes sense.

    @Squats=BGL, the one I went to in Dubai is called Crossfit Lifespark, they recently moved to a bigger space and it is close to the city train.
